The 2016 Geno Auriemma UConn Leadership Conference will focus on Leadership Transitions & Building Winning Teams. The event will be October 26-27, 2016 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
During this fast-paced, content-packed, two-day conference, we will tackle transitions from the vantage point of different stages in the leadership journey. Senior business executives and acclaimed academic experts will initiate discussions on personal career growth, transitioning to higher leadership roles, moving between industries, and joining a corporate board, among other topics.
The leadership program will also address issues of corporate strength, such as succession planning, the need to build a pipeline of women in management, and defining your corporate social responsibility agenda.
Past conference keynote speakers have included: U.S. General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Bill Simon, president and CEO of Walmart U.S.; and Charlie Denson, president of NIKE brand.
The 2016 keynote speaker will be announced shortly and is expected to be of similar accomplishment and prominence.
